Meeru Island Resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Meerufenfushi. Speedboat (big speed boat) transfer from Male 55 minutes to 1 hour ride to this Eastern most resort island in the North Male Atoll.

We visited the resort on the July 4th 2008, for the weekend, The resort is very very big, and for some rooms have to  go by a small car (like a golf cart), beach is very long, swimming pool is located in a very nice place and there is a nice kid pool also attached to it. We enjoyed a lot and the FOOD was very very nice, and there was lots of varieties to eat.
